Supporting you with your visa application
We are more than happy to advise you on how to apply for a visa via video conference or over the phone and can assist you with putting together meaningful documents. One of our regular areas of focus here is on demonstrating you have a means of subsistence or sufficient financial means or a guarantor and sufficient health insurance. In some cases, doubts regarding your purpose of residence or your so-called willingness to return can also lead to your visa application being rejected. A professionally prepared visa application can save you an expensive and time-consuming back-and-forth with the embassy later down the line.
When a visa application is rejected by the relevant German overseas mission (the embassy), the applicant usually has the choice of initiating remonstration procedures or bringing a complaint to the Administrative Court in Berlin.
Representation in remonstration procedures against the German embassies
The remonstration procedure is no ordinary remedy. It is a special form of objection established by the Foreign Office, however it is subject to material regulations concerning the objection proceedings pursuant to S. 68 et seqq. German Code of Administrative Court Procedure (VwGO). If remonstration is successful, the German overseas mission will overturn the visa rejection. Alternatively, a negative remonstration decision can be appealed before the Administrative Court in Berlin.
Either way, it is a good idea to have legal representation and to seek legal advice, since presenting your own argumentation to the embassy or Administrative Court a second time rarely leads to success. We can prepare your remonstration by accessing files with the relevant embassy and can even represent you during the subsequent complaint proceedings as applicable.
