Corporate immigration

There are lots of companies that have long had global workforces or that have been forced to increasingly look overseas for new recruits due to the general shortage of skilled workers. We can provide comprehensive advice on the legal pitfalls of employing international workers so that you can minimise compliance risks. Companies might find themselves in need of additional advice in the event that they want to transfer their employees from a location overseas to a German office, on either a short-term or long-term basis. These intra-corporate transfers can often be facilitated using an ICT Card or mobile ICT Card (S. 19a and S. 19b German Residence Act (AufenthG)).

Full service for skilled workers, Blue Card holders and jobseekers

We advise skilled workers during the visa process itself, fast-tracking the application process in partnership with their companies. We are also more than happy to advise you on getting your professional qualifications or university diplomas recognised in the Anabin Information System or through a Statement of Comparability from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). The new Skilled Immigration Act 2023 has also created the so-called experience track and potential track which allow persons to work in Germany as skilled workers without a formal diploma. Special rules continue to apply to certain foreign states, e.g. as part of a recognition partnership or the so-called Western Balkans Regulation.

We are also more than happy to support potential skilled workers in regards to residence for vocational training purposes (S. 16a AufenthG), study purposes (S. 16b AufenthG) or seeking employment (jobseeker visa pursuant to S. 20 AufenthG). By working with our long-time cooperation partners, we can also support you in your search for education, study or job opportunities as necessary.

Once they have arrived in Germany, we advise foreign skilled workers on all matters of law relating to their right of residence, indefinite leave to remain (settlement permit for skilled workers) and family reunification. We take care of the rest for you, handling all the legal matters related to your move and your registration in Germany – so you can focus on getting to Germany and your job.

We offer advice in German, English and French, including via video conference or over the phone.
